Living in central London, I hear regularly from the victims of serious crime. It is a sad truth policing in London is in trouble and too many feel unsafe.
I welcome our manifesto commitment to recruit 8,000 extra police officers, on top of the 20,000 extra officers we have already recruited across the country, and tough action so that our high streets remain safe.
As your MP, I will hold the Mayor of London, who is responsible for the Metropolitan Police, to account.
